To include: the contents of the library of Exbury House in Hampshire. (Exbury House was acquired by Lionel de Rothschild (1882-1942) in 1919 and remains in the family to this day.  Many of the volumes on offer were inherited from Alfred de Rothschild (1842-1918) of Halton Estate who along with his cousin Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild (1839-1898) of Waddesdon Manor, were condsidered as two of the greatest art collectors of their day). 

To include: jewellery, watches, silver and silver plate, clocks, collectors' items and works of art, Asian art, objects of vertu, pottery, porcelain, glassware, natural history, taxidermy, pictures, prints and engravings, furniture and furnishings.
